If you think politicians are clueless now, you've yet to imagine a future with Congressional Representative Stacey Dash.
That's right! The Clueless actress and former Fox News commentator filed paperwork on Monday to run for Congress in California's 44th district, which is currently repped by Democrat Nanette Barragan.
The 51-year-old has not issued a public statement yet, but has been teasing a potential run on Twitter. Earlier this month, she shared:
A number of people online and off have suggested I run for political office. I wanted to see what my online community thinks of this idea as I mull the possibilities. Thoughts? pic.twitter.com/L71fF0NnXR

Weeks later, the outspoken Republican tweeted "things are taking shape" before sending a vague (and mildly terrifying) message to her followers: "Soon."
Scary, we know. But if she somehow takes the district, Dash won't be first celeb to make the dash from showbiz to politics...
