According to former Pennsylvania governor and DNC chair Ed Rendell, Biden isn't just one of the options, he is "a superstar."
Speaking on a New York radio show interview today, Rendell said (below):
"To me it's clear-cut: Joe Biden is our superstar. If he decides to run I think he will win overwhelmingly ... Of course, people say [Biden's] too old. But he's only a year and a half older than President Trump, and he's in infinitely better shape. I don't think age would be a factor in a Biden-Trump election."
Hmmm... That would sure be... something!!! (FWIW, polls indicated Biden would CRUSH Trump...)
Again, don't get us wrong: we'd love Joe Biden as President. We would've loved Hillary Clinton as President though, too. But just because Biden is around doesn't necessarily mean he's the best pick... maybe just a safe one?

Meghan Markle has a REALLY big year ahead in 2018, but if she's anything like the Suits actress who used to run the now-defunct blog The Tig, well, her New Year's Resolutions for tomorrow will be exactly the same as they were year after year after year before now!
According to The Telegraph, a January 1, 2016 blog post on Markle's old site The Tig lays out a very specific list of New Year's Resolutions for 2016 -- and confirms, from Markle directly, that those are her resolutions every year.
So if you wanted to guess what she's trying to accomplish in 2018...

In the blog post from almost exactly two years ago, Markle writes that the same few resolutions "make my New Year's resolution list nearly (AKA actually every) single year," despite the fact that, well, she still hasn't achieved any one of 'em!

"Run a marathon. Stop biting my nails. Stop swearing. Re-learn French ... The marathon hasn't happened. As the calendar readies for its turn to 2018 and we all collectively try to wipe away the truly shitty year that 2017 has been on SO many levels, you're well within your right to let off some steam (safely!) tonight and enjoy a celebration with friends, family, and loved ones.
But please, all of you -- and especially our ridiculous Commander in Chief -- need not forget about Puerto Rico, where people (American citizens!!!) are still suffering horribly from the after-effects of Hurricane Maria.

It's been three full months since the hurricane made landfall on the American island, and now, officials are saying 45 percent of the nearly 1.5 million customers there STILL don't have any power.
How is that possible in this day and age, and in THIS country???
A woman named Susan Tierney, an expert on this type of thing who testified before a U.S. Senate committee on restoration efforts in Puerto Rico recently, put it best in a new Associated Press report out today (below):
"It's just extraordinary that it is still so far away from being 100 percent recovered. I'm not aware of any time in recent decades since the U.S. has electrified the entire economy that there has been an outage of this magnitude."
So, so shameful -- and such bad leadership straight from the top.
Of Puerto Rico's 78 municipalities, there is one -- Ciales -- that is still completely without power. And only this week did power crews finally restore electricity to parts of Yabucoa, a southern coastal town that was one of the first hit by Maria.
Where is Donald Trump??

But, like, seriously... he has time to whine about mid-term elections (of which he's not involved) and try to slam-dunk on Hillary Clinton over the stock market, but he doesn't have time to, you know, take the lead on Puerto Rico?

Longtime celebs Hugh Hefner and Mary Tyler Moore passed from natural causes. And the world lost rock stars Chester Bennington and Chris Cornell too soon as both committed suicide.

Nothing like having a good ol' knockdown, drag out fight -- in public -- between a bunch of celeb exes with complicated baby momma relationships and a ton of accusations flying around, right?!

So here's where we're at now with the messy situation between Tamar Braxton, Vincent Herbert, Laura Govan, and, um, apparently Gilbert Arenas: Braxton has called out Govan for being Herbert's alleged mistress who is having a love child (more HERE), and Braxton then went on the record to talk about Herbert's Christmas Day arrest and give an update to her divorce proceedings (more HERE).

But wait, there's more! Govan is now opening up to TMZ, telling the outlet that she is NOT the "whore" Braxton mentioned as allegedly getting pregnant by Vincent Herbert.
Laura claims not only has she never been with Vince, but that she's not pregnant at all, and is in a happy relationship "with someone else."
Hmmm... as for what Tamar's motivation would be if she were lying, Laura speculates that it's Arenas, the former NBA star (and Govan's ex) who started the Herbert cheating rumor, and that's fueled Braxton more than, you know, actual facts.
Ok. So THAT would make sense as to why Arenas COMPLETELY went off on Instagram late last night.
He called out Govan and really, really made things messy with a big rant that started right here (below):

The Migos rapper is in the middle of an ongoing pregnancy scandal after a woman named Celina Powell claims he knocked her up, and she's looking for a payday -- $50,000, to be exact, in exchange for an abortion!

According to TMZ, the dollar amount and abortion extortion attempt are now public because Offset's legal team sent Powell a very direct cease-and-desist letter that revealed her demands and ordered her to, well, stop doing this stuff IMMEDIATELY.
For her part, as we reported yesterday, Powell is adamant that she's actually pregnant, and it's Offset's baby.
But Cardi B's man and his legal team are denying things wholeheartedly. FWIW, Celina Powell has previously faked pregnancies with other celebs.
And now, Offset's lawyers have made it very clear to her with that cease-and-desist- letter: either you stop all this lying, or we're coming after you. The legal team says this has already cost Offset some financial harm; apparently, a few businesses have "pulled the plug" on deals he had been working on with them, according to TMZ.
If that's the case, and this has affected Offset's bottom line, 2018 could prove to be a year of bad luck with legal decisions for Powell if it turns out she's really lying.

For Celina's part, she's STILL stuck on how the pregnancy is happening, and it IS Offset's baby.

Travis Scott may have already broken up with Kylie Jenner, according to a new account purportedly from Kardashian insiders as told to Radar Online.
The 25-year-old rapper allegedly told Jenner that he "can't do this anymore" and broke up with her, per the reports.

Well, now we know a little bit more about that Christmas Day arrest of Vincent Herbert that we reported on this morning.
His ex Tamar Braxton spoke to TMZ earlier this morning to clarify a few things about the "spousal assault" that Vincent was booked into Los Angeles jail for -- and she admits things got "heated and a bit exaggerated" in the lead-up to the cops showing up at her house.

Tamar said about the incident (below):
"Co-parenting while going through a divorce is not an easy task. While celebrating the Christmas holiday as a family, after a few drinks and some jealousy, things got a bit out of hand, which is common for most families during the holidays. In the midst of everything our family is going through things got heated and a bit exaggerated."
And then she continues (below):
"There was no physical interaction between Vince and I on Christmas. While I do not appreciate his lack of respect for our family and him allegedly impregnating another woman, I cannot paint him as a vicious abuser that Vince is not."
Inneresting!!! Good to know that nothing physical happened, even if Vincent had to be removed from the premises.
He was out of jail shortly thereafter, according to the police report, after posting a $20,000 bail.

And Tamar continued, wrapping things up on what she hoped would be a positive note (below):

This is pretty scary for Kyle Richards and Mauricio Umansky.
As we reported earlier this week, the pair's estate in Encino was robbed while they were away on Wednesday, and thieves made off with more than a million dollars in jewelry and purses in the process.
But now, we know that police are confident this was NOT an inside job -- and disturbingly, the heist bears some resemblance to burglaries perpetrated earlier this year at the homes of Mariah Carey and baseball star Yasiel Puig.

Cops say that based on how quickly and seamlessly the thieves entered the house -- and where they went once inside -- this no doubt was a job done by professionals. Scary!!!
There are things we knew at the time of the burglary -- like Mauricio losing $150,000 worth of watches from his closet -- but new details are also being revealed about some of the valuable and sentimental pieces lost in the burglary, too.
For one, the Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star lost ALL of her handbags in the burglary, including Birkin and Chanel pieces.
She also lost a gold wedding band with the inscription "Mauricio forever," as well as the $100,000 earrings Mauricio get her for their 20th anniversary last year (the ones that Andy Cohen presented her with on WWHL!!!).
Apparently, a lot of the jewelry including pieces Kyle had been given by her late mother, and she had been planning to give the same pieces on to her daughters in the future. No doubt there will be an emotional and sentimental toll here.

Most importantly, the key thing: the house has a state-of-the-art security system that can be turned on remotely, but for some reason there was a "misunderstanding," according to TMZ, and the security system was NOT on.
That means it appears there may not be an surveillance video of the thieves in action.
Oh, and the family has three big dogs, too -- including a 100-lb. German Shepherd -- but all three were away from the house finishing up a five-week obedience course.
In other words, it was truly the perfect time to stage this burglary. Crazy!!!
Don't go trying anything now, though... there's apparently an armed guard on the property around the clock in the wake of the theft.
No one has been apprehended yet, and if it turns out there's no surveillance footage as previously thought, well, there may never be an arrest made. Awful stuff!!! No one should have to go through this!!

Erica Garner, an activist and the daughter of Eric Garner, who was killed from a police choke hold in 2014, has died. She was just 27 years old.
Erica went into cardiac arrest earlier this week and suffered major brain damage due to a lack of oxygen, rendering her brain dead at the time.
Now, unfortunately, she has passed away.
Her family, who mans her Twitter account now after her passing, relayed the news with a heartfelt message and more on Saturday morning (below):

These two are like getting oil and water together, and a Christmas Day showdown definitely didn't help things much.
It's only coming out now, a few days after the fact, that Tamar Braxton had her soon-to-be-ex-husband Vincent Herbert arrested for spousal assault on Christmas Day, according to TMZ.
It's not totally clear what he did to Tamar, but he was booked and eventually released on $20,000 bail -- and wait, there's MUCH more!!!

The arrest was kicked off because Tamar has an order or protection against Vincent, so he's supposed to stay away from her, right?!
Well now we know that one of the issues behind their recent fighting and the arrest turns out to be another woman!!
In a now-deleted Instagram post, Tamar revealed that Vince is apparently HAVING A LOVE CHILD with another woman!!!
It appears that Tamar recently found out about the other woman, who she calls a "whore" in the post.
In part, Tamar had written (below):
"That stupid broke ass whore should check public records on Christmas before she goes through with it!! He called back (despite of his protection order) begging and lying."

So Vincent must have started the event that eventually led to his arrest with that call back "begging and lying" about the love child, and the other woman. Crazy!!!

And the person who told Tamar about all this mistress play going down??? Her ex, former NBA star Gilbert Arenas!!!
Gilbert apparently spotted Vincent and Laura on vacation together a few months ago and tipped off Tamar that the two were together... and now, it would appear, Govan and Herbert are having a baby together with Tamar all up in the middle.
Hmmm...
Tamar filed for divorce from Vincent back in October, and it seems like the sooner the better on finalizing this one...

A retired priest who married a Romanian male model 54 years his junior is now homeless and broke after splitting up -- DAYS after buying the 24-year-old an apartment.
Retired Rev Philip Clements was branded a "Judas" by local parishioners after he announced plans to marry Florin Marin earlier this year.
Clergymen are banned from performing or entering same-sex marriages under the Church of England rules -- but that didn't stop the 79-year-old from tying the knot with his much younger man, whom he met on an online dating site, back in April!

Months later, the former parish priest sold his home in Sandwich, Kent to buy his young husband an apartment in Romania where the two could start a new life.

The straw that broke the former priest's back, however, was when Florin told Clements he was too old to go clubbing with him. Just days after Clements handed Florin over the keys to his Bucharest apartment in August, the pair had an argument and split up.

Now Clements is back in the UK staying with friends, where he remains broke and homeless.
