As we reported, former NBA player Rasual Butler and his wife Leah LaBelle tragically died in a Los Angeles car crash early Wednesday morning. He was 38 and she was 31.
Butler played for the Heat, Hornets, Clippers, Bulls, Raptors, Pacers, Wizards, and Spurs on the court during his professional career, which lasted until 2016. Leah placed 12th on the third season of American Idol in 2004. She was an R&B singer signed to Epic Records.
In response, many fans and athletes have taken to Twitter to express their condolences.

The Toronto landscaper who was arrested and charged with the murder of two gay men last week has been charged with the murder of three more men.
Police are now saying it's safe to call Bruce McArthur (above) a "serial killer" after the 66-year-old was charged with first degree murder in the deaths of Majeed Kayhan, Soroush Marmudi, and Dean Lisowisk, all of whom had been reported missing.
The arrest came after investigators found dismembered skeletal remains of three unidentified victims "hidden at the bottom of planters" at a home McArthur used as storage for his landscaping business.

Toronto Police Det. Sgt. Hank Idsinga said during a press conference:
"The city of Toronto has never seen anything like this. It's a serial killer. An alleged serial killer. He has taken some steps to cover his tracks and we have to uncover these victims and identify these victims."
Authorities are now searching through planters, flower pots, and backyards throughout the city for more possible victims. The detective added:
"We do believe there are more (victims). I have no idea how many more there are going to be."
Police have yet to confirm if the skeletal remains are those of the men McArthur is accused of killing, Idsinga added, and are awaiting the results of a DNA test.
But McArthur has already been charged with first-degree murder in the presumed deaths of Selim Esen and Andrew Kinsman, who were both reported missing from Toronto's Gay Village area last year.

Per the Toronto Star, Idsinga had previously confirmed that McArthur was known in Toronto's Gay Village and was in a relationship with Kinsman, but did not comment on the suspect's connection to the other victims.
Idsigna revealed that Kayhan, a 58-year-old immigrant from Afghanistan, is believed to have been killed in October 2012; Mahmudi, 50, is believed to have been killed in August 2015; and Lisowick, a 47-year-old who lived at a shelter, is believed to have been killed between April 2016 and March 2017.
Police plan to excavate at least two sites associated with McArthur's work in the search for more possible victims. The suspect remains in custody and will appear in court via video on Valentine's Day (February 14), of all days.

In a new feature for Buzzfeed News, the 34-year-old actress says Donald Trump's presidency has only radicalized her even more:

Having the conversation and facing what's happening is the most important part, according to Amber:
"I think we need to sit in anger for a while, and that's OK. I'm of that mind, I really am. And even when I get called on my own shit, whether it's white feminism, or people asking me to be held responsible for something my husband did, or whatever it is across the board, I accept it ... The anger has been deep for a long time, and now the volcano is erupting. I believe that that's what it should do. ...Whether or not that hurts you, or hurts me that you say it, we need to fucking hear it."

Terri Irwin still hasn't gotten over losing her soulmate.
And who can blame her?? In case you forgot, Mrs. Irwin lost husband Steve Irwin (AKA The Crocodile Hunter) in a freak accident involving a stingray in 2006. Prior to his death, the twosome had been married for 14 years and had welcomed two children together.
Terri's heartbreak seems to be a lasting one as she revealed to People:
"I think it's wonderful when people who have lost someone find love again, but I'm not personally looking, and I haven't been on a date in 27 years. In fact, it's been so long, I've had a couple of lovely women ask me out because they figured that's the case. But I'm content. I have two beautiful kids, a really full plate. I've already had my happily ever after."
As Steve's accident was "so unexpected," coming to terms with his passing has been "extremely challenging." However, checking in with her children "every night" helped her soldier one. She added:
"We'd each say our favorite part of the day, what we were most looking forward to tomorrow and a good deed we did that day. You can't focus on yourself. You need to focus on what you're doing for others and then you can start to heal."

Hillary Clinton regrets the handling of senior campaign adviser Burns Strider's 2007 sexual harassment scandal.
In case you missed it, over the weekend, BuzzFeed News reported that in '07 a woman filed a complaint against Clinton's faith and values adviser. Apparently, the political consultant was "touchy" and displayed "excessive tracking" when interacting with the complainant.

It's said many on the campaign wanted to fire him but, ultimately, the former Secretary of State chose to keep Strider on her staff. Understandably, the Democratic powerhouse has been met with quite a bit of criticism following this reveal. Thus, on Tuesday evening, the ex Presidential hopeful took to Facebook to offer up regrets and a lengthy statement about the decision.
Hillary stated:
"The most important work of my life has been to support and empower women... So I very much understand the question I'm being asked as to why I let an employee on my 2008 campaign keep his job despite his inappropriate workplace behavior. The short answer is this: If I had it to do again, I wouldn't."
Clinton went on to reveal that both senior campaign staff and legal counsel confirmed Burns' inappropriate behavior. However, against advice from her campaign manager, Hillary chose to keep Strider employed -- but with STRICT conditions. Specifically, Clinton demoted Strider, docked his pay, made him go to counseling, kept him away from the victim, and threatened to terminate him if he repeated any unsavory behavior.
Despite The Times claim that the 52-year-old refused to attend the mandatory counseling, Clinton noted that no additional complaints were brought against Strider during the duration of the campaign. She continued:
"I didn't think firing him was the best solution to the problem. He needed to be punished, change his behavior, and understand why his actions were wrong. The young woman needed to be able to thrive and feel safe. I thought both could happen without him losing his job. I believed the punishment was severe and the message to him unambiguous."
Sadly, years later, Burns was terminated from a job for, once again, inappropriate behavior. Of course, this revelation has troubled Clinton "greatly" and has made her reconsider her decision. Bill Clinton's wife pondered:
"There is no way I can go back 10 years and know the answers. But you can bet I'm asking myself these questions right now."
Clinton has made sure to reach out to the victim "to see how she was doing, but also to help [Clinton] reflect on [her] decision and its consequences." Per the former First Lady, the woman involved has given Hillary her support:
"She expressed appreciation that she worked on a campaign where she knew she could come forward without fear. She was glad that her accusations were taken seriously, that there was a clear process in place for dealing with harassment, and that it was followed. Most importantly, she told me that for the remainder of the campaign, she flourished in her new role."

Mark Salling left many pieces behind.
As we reported, the former Glee star was found dead on Tuesday by a riverbed in Sunland, California after an apparent suicide. He was one month away from sentencing from his child porn case, which he plead guilty to back in December.

As part of his plea agreement, he was facing four to seven years in prison and was required to pay each victim $50K in restitution.
Unfortunately for the victims, the penalty cannot be imposed by the judge as the plea deal wasn't technically finalized. Their only option now is to sue the 35-year-old's estate for the damages they suffered from his transgressions, according to TMZ.

For a visit with Ellen DeGeneres, which is slated to air on Thursday, Michelle revealed what was inside the box AND gave some insight into her flummoxed look.

In a teaser, the 54-year-old shared that Melania had gifted her with "a lovely frame." Apparently, the whole meet and greet was awkward as hell, as the Trumps broke protocol from the moment they arrived.
For starters, Donnie noticeably didn't wait or help his wife out of the SUV as they arrived at the White House. Not to mention, it isn't typical for an incoming First Lady to give the outgoing FLOTUS a present.
The Chicago native explained:

Scott Baio is firing back.
As we reported, Nicole Eggert appeared on Megyn Kelly Today on Tuesday, where she detailed her sexual misconduct claims against her Charles in Charge costar that allegedly began when she was just 14.
On Wednesday, the 57-year-old actor went on Good Morning America to slam the "false allegations," even saying Eggert seduced HIM when she was 18 and legally an adult. Hm.
The Happy Days star went on to say that molestation would have been "absolutely impossible" on a set filled with members of the crew. Not the best argument, as we've seen over the past few months.

Things got especially awkward when Scott was pressed about Eggert's allegation of misconduct taking place in his garage when she was a young teen. He responded:

The Blast reports the rest of the warning says:
"Especially in the charged environment of today's media, any such accusation will cause Mr. Baio to suffer tremendous and ongoing damage in his personal and professional endeavors."

Harvey Weinstein is hitting back at Rose McGowan's rape claims -- and it seems he has Ben Affleck in his corner.
On Tuesday, the disgraced Hollywood heavyweight's lawyer dropped a statement denying the Charmed alum's sexual assault claims against Weinstein. This denial comes just after Rose's Good Morning America interview, where she called for actual criminal charges to be made against the controversial filmmaker.

In a statement to Us Weekly, attorney Ben Brafman wrote:
"As a general matter, Harvey Weinstein and his attorneys have refrained from publicly criticizing any of the women who have made allegations of sexual assault against Mr. Weinstein despite a wealth of evidence that would demonstrate the patent falsity of these claims. Watching the 'performance' by Rose McGowan as she looks to promote her new book however, has made it impossible to remain quiet as she tries to smear Mr. Weinstein with a bold lie that is denied not only by Mr. Weinstein himself, but by at least two witnesses, including Ms. McGowan's own Manager at the time who Ms. McGowan claims to have confided in the day after the alleged assault and an A-list actor Ben Affleck who Ms. McGowan claims to have also told about her encounter with Mr. Weinstein shortly after the incident she now describes as 'rape,' but which in 1997 she described to her Manager as a ‘consensual' act of sex."
As you may recall, McGowan alleges she was paid a $100k settlement by the producer after he supposedly lured her to his hotel room and assaulted her in 1997. Per Rose, after talking for a bit, Harvey pushed her into the bathroom, pulled off her clothes, and performed oral sex on her while he pleasured himself.
Following this alleged encounter, Rose has previously stated that she confided in then manager Jill Messick and Phantoms costar Affleck. McGowan has stated that the Oscar winner informed her he "told him to stop doing that." Both Messick and Affleck have come out and denied Rose's recollection of these conversations.
In fact, while Jill claims Rose did tell her about a consensual interaction with Weinstein, Ben has straight up denied knowing anything regarding Weinstein and McGowan's relations. On Messick's stance, Brafman shared:
"In an email to Mr. Weinstein regarding the encounter, Jill Messick says the following, ‘When we met up the following day, she hesitantly told me of her own accord that during the meeting that night before she had gotten into a hot tub with Mr. Weinstein. She was very clear about the fact that getting into that hot tub was something that she did consensually and that in hindsight it was also something that she regretted having done.'"
As for Jennifer Garner's ex's denial, he wrote in one email to Harvey:
"She never told me nor did I ever infer that she was attacked by anyone. Any accounts to the contrary are false. I have no knowledge about anything Rose did or claimed to have done. Accounts otherwise are lies."
This quote has been confirmed by Brafman and DailyMail.com. Understandably, this apparent Weinstein support has enraged Rose, who has since clapped back on Twitter:

Forget Donald Trump's State Of The Union address! His alleged porn star mistress is speaking out!
In an interview with Jimmy Kimmel on Tuesday night, Stormy Daniels (born Stephanie Clifford) finally made an appearance on the late night show after it was revealed semi-recently she was allegedly paid hush money by Trump's lawyer as part of a non-disclosure settlement ahead the 2016 election.
