Mark Salling's Peers React To The Glee Actor's Shocking Death

I look younger now than when I was in my early 20s

What shocking news.

As we reported earlier, Mark Salling took his own life on Tuesday morning. It's said the Glee alum was founded deceased outside in the northeast San Fernando Valley. He was 35 years old at the time of his passing.

Salling's attorney, Michael J. Proctor, has since confirmed the tragic news as he released a statement on Mark's death. He noted to the press:

"I can confirm that Mark Salling passed away early this morning. Mark was a gentle and loving person, a person of great creativity, who was doing his best to atone for some serious mistakes and errors of judgment. He is survived by his mother and father, and his brother. The Salling family appreciates the support they have been receiving and asks for their privacy to be respected."

In case you forgot, Mark was slated to be sentenced in early March as he previously pleaded guilty to possession of child pornography involving a prepubescent minor. Unsurprisingly, reactions from Salling's peers have already begun to trickle in on Twitter (below).

Jane Lynch weighed in on the news by retweeting the message (directly above).

Also, Matthew Morrison posted a shot of him with Mark and Cory Monteith, captioning it simply with angel and sad face emojis.

Mark may've been a troubled human, but our thoughts are with his loved ones during this time.
