Recently, BabyCenter released its list of the most popular baby names of 2017 -- from data involving more than 500,000 kiddos -- and they discovered the aforementioned monikers are the top boy and girl names of the year!
In fact, Jackson is number one for the fifth consecutive year, while Sophia is on top for the eighth!

Interesting enough, female names used in Disney films have become more popular. Belle (from Beauty and the Beast) is #575, Ariel (from The Little Mermaid) is #131, and Moana (from the eponymous film) is #1458!
Additionally, more baby boys are named Chance (#285) presumably because of Chance The Rapper!
